We would like to give a huge THANKS to YOU for the ongoing love, loyalty, and support that you have shown to us over the years.

After almost a quarter century of its operation, sadly, Café Frida —a historic icon of Mexican food on the UWS— closed its doors last spring due to Covid-19, but only to revive, into a re-awakened vision and more profound concept, keeping Cafe Frida's legacy of high quality and honest food.

We also want you to know that we intend to keep the Café Frida brand, memory, and tradition alive through pop-up events, catering services, and menu items at our recently opened sister.

We hope to see you at COVACHA soon, where Western México meets the American Northeast.
